Tacoma Maternity Family Photography
Tacoma Maternity Family Photography with Giovanna, Tory, and their newest addition to the family, Sawyer. First, I had the pleasure of taking Giovanna’s maternity photos at Chamber’s Bay. She was incredibly sweet. Giovanna brought this wonderful floral crown that we used in a lot of the photos.
One of the first shots we took was in this little patch of flowers, probably lupin, or at least it looks similar.
Getting a tight closeup of the baby bump while doing maternity photos is always a must.
I love photographing subjects amongst tall grass like this because I think the look of getting low and having it blurred in the foreground is pretty awesome.
I encourage clients to share inspiration photos for their upcoming shoot. Since one of the pictures Giovanna shared was in the water, it seemed like the shoreline at Chambers was an excellent place to end the session.
Here Comes Baby Sawyer!
Most noteworthy, here comes baby Sawyer! These little feet are adorable. After having 2 kids myself, I never understood baby shoes because they are incredibly hard to put on and to stay on. However, these shoes on this little guy is just too cute. I don’t know how Giovanna got these shoes to stay on him, but Sawyer was looking quite dapper.
“Oh, hey everybody! What’s going on? Me? I’m just chillin’ being a cute baby and everything.”
Sawyer demonstrates the only time it’s appropriate to put your wedding ring on someone’s feet.
Sawyer was a very easy baby to shoot. He was mellow and would just take a quick nap whenever he felt like it.
Look at these beautiful fall covered leaves in front of Tory’s house! The colors are incredible.
Finally we headed to Fort Steilacoom Park to finish off our session with some pictures in front of their red barns. What a perfect day with a wonderful family! Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
