Motorcycle Wedding Getaway

Motorcycle Wedding Getaway

This motorcycle wedding getaway started at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, had a detour across the Vincent Thomas bridge to the Point Fermin Lighthouse and ended at the Museum of Latin American Art.  The wedding was everything you could possibly want it to be, filled with joyful family and friends, it was colorfully festive, love was in the air, and the newlyweds looked like they were having a ball! Congratulations Christy & Israel, what a beautiful day to remember.

Christy’s dress was gorgeous!  It was handmade and painted by her aunt.  I LOVED it.8B4A9668

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was beautiful.  It allowed me to capture some images that really incorporated this wondrous space.

And the motorcycle joy ride begins… I just think that is so cool.Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles

I followed Christy and Israel in her cousin’s truck like the paparazzi .  I would lean out the window with my long lens, out the back window, or pop out of the sunroof.  It was fun!  Here they are riding over the Vincent Thomas Bridge.Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles

I love how Israel used his side mirror to comb his hair .  Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles

We thought it would be fun to buy a little treat from this vendor.  Israel took a bite and said it was too cold.Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles

We found some nice shade outside the Point Fermin Lighthouse.Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles

The reception was at the Museum of Latin American Art.  I really dug this giant fork and knife the museum had on the wall.

I LOVED her cake… almost as much as the dress.  Although i never tried the cake, so maybe that would have set it over the top.  Either way, they were both radiant, vibrant, and just really pretty.

They had one gallery open at the museum, and this giant painting in particular caught our eye.Wedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los AngelesWedding and Event Photography Los Angeles
