Tacoma Seattle Boudoir Photography
Tacoma Seattle Boudoir Photography. After a decade as a professional photographer, I had my first boudoir photoshoot with Erin. And I had so much fun! Erin was sweet and easy to work with, so I had a great time trying something new. Wedding Photography has been a bulk of my work since I started shooting. I’ve always struggled with having a million ideas for cool shots while working with bride and grooms. There is just never enough time on a wedding day to them. This boudoir shoot was really fun because I was relaxed and I felt like we had time to play and be creative without a ticking clock.
Another reason I liked this photoshoot was because it was like a headshot session, just a lot more exciting. There are so many poses and playfulness that I can explore. Rather than a business headshot that usually needs to look a certain way, like a trustworthy professional. Here I felt like I had a bit more creative freedom with what I think would look cool. I wasn’t worried about having these photos look a certain way or making sure I am checking off a wedding shot list of must-have photos.
Bridal portraits have always been one of my favorite things to photograph during a wedding, since I get to work with someone one on one. I prefer working with females since they tend to be more natural in front of a camera. Women are mysterious, complex, and powerful beings. Their bodies are more shapely and beautiful to photograph. This reminded me of working with a bride, but a little more naughty 😉
Finally, I thought it would be fun if Erin cut into this watermelon, and ate a slice. It was pretty sweet too for not really being in season. Thank you Erin for a wonderful shoot, you’re amazing.
