Edmonds Marina Beach Engagement
Edmonds Marina Beach engagement photography. Alexis and Jesse wanted to take their engagement photos close to home. Marina Beach Park held a special place in their heart as they spent many dates together there.
First of all, we started on the bridge leading to the marina. I start a photography session with movement if I can.
They were such a fun couple. Jesse was incredibly sweet, and Alexis was a breeze to work with.
It seems like sometimes I crouch in the grass to get an artistic shot. Another reason I might do this is to get bystanders out of the frame. Consequently this time I’m crouching in the grass for both reasons. As a result I’m able to get some contrasting foreground and eliminate people’s heads that are playing on the beach.
Especially relevant, this was my first time at Marina Beach Park. I always arrive early to walk the grounds in this case so I can assemble a general game plan of where I’d like to shoot.
Probably one of my favorite things about shooting engagement sessions is that every couple is different. Almost every time I give a couple an action, in this case holding hands while spinning around, I get completely different results.
It was a beautiful day with a wonderful couple. We had even more fun at their wedding!
