Pike Place Market Engagement
Pike Place Market Engagement photography in Seattle’s iconic downtown market. First of all, I had a great time working with Lexie and Bryan. We started their session at the main entrance of the market. The market wasn’t bustling like it normally is since we planned on an evening/night shoot. We had this first section of stalls to ourselves because the vendors had gone home for the night. The market was pretty dark for photos so I setup an off camera flash just to the left of them.
In order to get this Public Market shot I had to stand in the middle of the street on a crosswalk. It was a challenge to work around the car and foot traffic, but we ended up with several winners to choose from.
I found a pretty alley that had some nice hanging florals on a couple of the storefronts to get some action shots.
Most of all, I thought it would be fun to capture some images at the famous gum wall. They broke out the bubblegum and got to blowing. Lexie schooled Bryan in blowing bubbles, and finally we captured evidence that Bryan blew a bubble 🙂
Congratulations Lexie and Bryan! What a treat it was to work with you and shoot your wedding.
