Seattle Discovery Park Engagement Session
Seattle Discovery Park Engagement Session – this photo shoot was on a beautiful bright sunny spring day in the Pacific Northwest. Meghan and Jesse are a charming couple getting married in Texas during the summer on a yacht! How’s that for fun? I had never heard of a wedding on a ship before. It sounds like it will be one not to miss!
We lucked out with some pretty cherry blossoms that day, and just nice weather in general. Of course, I prefer cloud coverage for photos, but hey, I won’t complain about sunshine!
Meghan had lots of cute ideas for photos and several props, which is always fun! I like this one that spells love with the engagement ring. Scrabble anyone? I suspect she’ll have something pretty cool planned for her wedding details.
Jesse is one of those guys that says he’s no good at having his photo taken, and then he just kills it. Look at that smile!
Two hands, two hearts, coming together as one.
After we played around the park awhile, we went down to the beach. West Point Lighthouse seems to be a popular place for photographers that use Discovery park for photos, and for good reason. There’s a nice beach and perfect leading lines to a picturesque little lighthouse. The bummer is that parking can be an issue, and it is often crowded, especially on the weekends. Even with a crowd around we were able to get some nice shots thanks to creative angles, timing, and our dear friend, photoshop.
Meghan brought this cool anchor with their family name. I took some photos of them holding it, of course. Then I thought it might look neat if we had the sign in focus and them blurry in the foreground. This is what happened.
That’s a wrap! Congratulations! Your wedding is going to be amazing!
