Wright Park Tacoma Engagement
Wright Park Tacoma Engagement photography session. Sareeta and Erik wanted to take their pictures in the city and in nature. Hence Wright park was an excellent choice for nature shots due to it’s proximity to downtown. First of all, we started in the city at UW Tacoma, then made our way over to the Washington State Natural History Museum, Union Station, and finally Wright Park.
Since Erik and Sareeta had a natural chemistry together that was easy to capture. They showed off their dance moves in front of these ornate light poles. Seems like they may have taken dance lessons together.
In addition to the bright sun peaking through the clouds, their warm hearts and bright smiles came through the lens, and as a result we are left with some beautiful images.
Another trick I like to do with couples is have them duck into some foliage. I use a long lens to give the couple space, therefore there is more permission for the couple to be intimate without onlookers and without me spoiling the connection between the two.
Lastly, Sareeta and Erik were such a fun couple to work with. I had so many laughing shots. I wish I could share them all.
