Chambers Bay Family Photography Session
This Chambers Bay family photography session was photographed in the lower park area next to the golf course, on the bridge, and on the beach. Chambers Bay is a beautiful park with lots of great options for pictures.
It was a rainy, cloudy, and windy day in Tacoma, but our best chance of getting these family pictures was today since Josh is military and had to leave for in a couple of days for another tour in the middle east. This is the ultimate sacrifice he makes for his family and I am so thankful for those that serve this great country.
As luck would have it, as soon as we stepped out of the car the rain let up and we ended up with a beautiful break with some sun shinning. This allowed us to get some great pictures.
Dana and Josh have the cutest boy in the world. Evan had so much energy. It was incredible. I wish I had his energy! I knew we would have the most success if we started out with movement. So we began this photography session with walking, skipping, and running. I think Evan had a great time.
The kid has hops!
We then made our way over the skywalk bridge and onto the beach.
This was when we got lucky again with having the train go by. Evan waved to the train conductor as they whizzed past us. Choo Choo!
Walking the balance beam…
I think Evan spotted a dog down the beach.
Evan was more than ready to jump at the suggestion of throwing rocks in the water.
Throwing the football around… Go Bears!
The sun started to set and although it wasn’t the most spectacular sunset it gave a nice golden glow on everyone’s faces.
There was this cool stump on the beach, and of course Evan had to climb it. Once on top, he claimed victory by letting out a big cock a doodle doo!
I may have said it already, but cute kid.
What a great family and an afternoon well spent!
