Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding
Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding. First of all, I had a great time working with Lexie and Bryan on their engagement shoot. So I knew their wedding would be fun! Lexie got ready with all of her girlfriends at an Airbnb just a few miles away from the venue. The Ballard Airbnb had a beautiful rooftop space where I got some fun shots of Lexie and her ladies.
Lexie’s mom helped her get into this stunning wedding dress. I loved the laced sleeveless and the details in the back. Most noteworthy, she looked absolutely incredible.
Bryan got ready with all of this friends right at the Bathhouse in Golden Gardens Park. The guys had a great time, especially when rousing game of corn hole came out. All of them were down to get a little goofy so we had a lot of fun together.
An hour or two before the shoot I did a walkthrough of the space to look for photography opportunities and see where the light was good. Seems like another photographer liked my idea, because when it came time to do the first look our spot was taken by another large wedding party. I acted quick, and we detoured to a more private spot against the backdrop of greenery.
We hit the beach! It’s always so nice to be on the water.
Instead of asking Bryan to help Lexie down off the log, I asked Lexie to help Bryan. They were pretty funny about it.
When we met back up with the entire wedding party for group pictures, they all started cheering when Lexie and Bryan walked up.
Ceremony
The Bathhouse is a lovely intimate space right on the beach. It’s perfect for ceremonies and receptions.
They have excellent shady spots we could duck into for portraits.
Their guests cheer as they entered the reception. I was cheering too because these two were on schedule all day. Seems like that is somewhat unusual in my experience.
I can imagine these two tearing it up at Karaoke bars.
Who doesn’t love a good sparkler exit?
Congratulations Lexie and Bryan, wishing you all the best!
