LeMay Car Museum Tacoma Wedding
LeMay Car Museum Tacoma Wedding photography. Josilyn and Aaron were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are fun and madly in love, therefore they made my job a breeze. First of all, Josilyn got ready with her bridesmaids at a family friend’s home in Fircrest, WA.
Leah Thompson was the hairdresser for Josiliyn. In addition, Alina helped bring out Josilyn’s natural beauty with her makeup. She looked like a princess straight out of a fairytale book.
Next we drove over to Kilworth Memorial Chapel on the University of Puget Sound’s campus where the ceremony would take place. Especially relevant was that Josilyn would be have her first look with her father and Aaron here on the front steps.
Maybe it’s because I’m a father, but her first look with her dad was especially touching to me.
Aaron was looking handsome in his suit and bowtie. He was anxious to see his beautiful bride. Their embrace and first kiss when they saw each other was oh so sweet.
She’s showing him the engraving on his ring here.
I loved their wedding party. They were fun, silly, and they listened well. Most noteworthy is that they were truly there for the bride and groom. They were supportive and attentive to the couple’s needs throughout the day, and you don’t always see that.
Katie Malone created the beautiful floral arrangements. She matched the bridesmaids dresses flawlessly.
The ceremony was held in Kilworth Memorial Chapel. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
After the ceremony, we scooted over to LeMay Car Museum downtown Tacoma. The event space is incredible with its views of the city and the extensive history of automobiles it boasts. Mama Stortinis catered the reception, which was absolutely delicious. DJ Ray Julich packed the dance floor with non-stop hits.
This gorgeous cake was created by Ladybug Baking Company. It tasted as good as it looks.
What an incredible day with this fabulous couple! Congratulations Josilyn and Aaron! Wishing you all the very best in the years to come.
