Point Defiance Tacoma Wedding
I had a great time shooting this Point Defiance Tacoma Wedding. The ceremony was set towering over the Puget Sound at the Gig Harbor overlook in Point Defiance Park. Kristina and Justin both love the outdoors and they wanted to be surrounded by nature, so five mile drive at Point Defiance was a perfect setting for their wedding. They enjoyed the view, the greenery, and most of all the love of their immediate family members there to support them.
Kristina’s beautiful wedding dress and accessories were from David’s Bridal.
In addition, the bridal bouquet was designed by Jordan Moll at Jordan Moll Events. The color pop from those fuchsias and violets amongst all the greenery is stunning to me. I love Kristina’s smile in the picture above, just beautiful.
Justin was looking sharp in his navy blue suit from Jos. A Banks along with his winning smile.
First Look
First of all, Kristina and Justin had a moment to themselves during their first look before the ceremony. If you twisted my arm, I would probably say this is my favorite moment of a couple’s wedding day because there is always a bit of magic in it. Since this moment is not only significant for me, but most brides tell me how special it was, I always recommend having a first look.
Ceremony
Kristina’s brother-in-law was the officiant for the ceremony. He did such an excellent job that we consequently barely noticed the hot sun beating down on all of us. The gorgeous view might have helped too.
Everyone showered the newlyweds with a sea of bubbles, because no one likes getting rice in their hair and eyes.
After all the family pictures were done everyone headed back to Kristina’s family’s home. They had a little reception where the family could eat, drink, let their hair down, and most of all celebrate this wonderful young couple.
Carl and Randee you captured every moment perfectly and were such a joy to work with, i would HIGHLY recommend you to anyone looking for a skilled photographer!!!
