Tacoma Country & Golf Club Wedding
This Tacoma Country & Golf Club wedding had an exciting newlywed announcement at the end of the ceremony by Steve Raible, voice of the Seattle Seahawks. The bride was the mastermind behind the surprise and the groom’s reaction was priceless. Andrea and Max had a beautiful wedding on a gorgeous day in the PNW. Most of all, they definitely know how to have a good time.
First, the day started with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready at the Silver Cloud Inn on the Tacoma waterfront.
Andrea’s found her stunning dress at the Ania Bridal Collection in Portland, Oregon.
We then went to Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park for the first look and some creative pictures. I love the bridge and the pagoda there. It was a tough choice, but we felt the bridge would give us the best privacy and backdrop to make sure we captured some nice photos of the moment.
Max and Andrea exchanged gifts with each other. I think this is always a great idea for a bride and groom to do for each other. You can also exchange letters.
We then set off for the Tacoma Country & Golf Club, which is a beautiful property in Lakewood overlooking American Lake.
The pretty florals were designed by Jordan Moll Events. They were absolutely perfect.
The ceremony space at the golf club is so beautiful. All the guests get to overlook American Lake as the couple exchanges their vows.

Finally, here is the reaction to Steve Raible, official voice of the Seattle Seahawks, announcing the newlyweds for the first time. It was such a great moment!
After the ceremony we escaped for a bit to capture a few photos of the bride and groom before they joined everyone at cocktail hour.
We came back to the reception space, still overlooking American Lake. The newlyweds rode in on the golf cart and got straight to the first dance. Day of coordination was impeccably run by the clubhouse manager, Teresa McDaniel. Everything went along smooth as silk.
Tacoma Country & Golf Club did a fantastic job catering the event. The food was absolutely delicious. The decadent and scrumptious cupcakes were made by Celebrity Cake Studio in Tacoma.
The best man described himself as socially awkward and not good in front of crowds, and then went on to give one of the best best man speeches I’ve ever heard. He had everyone laughing… including me and my team.
Guests danced well into the night with music by Donny Hicks at Northwest Mobile Sound and Lighting.
What a magical night! Congratulations Andrea and Max!
